NON CO-OPERATION STRIKE  COMMENCES TODAY

KGIMOA is forced to go into an indefinite non cooperation strike starting today, December 1st, as a protest against the non implementation of the order regarding our pay anomalies. As a part of the strike we will abstain from the following
           1.  medical boards, camps, departmental meetings
           2.  submission of reports
           3. computerisation works
           4. new deputations , extra duties
On dec 11th, KGIMOA will stage a dharna at the secretariat, Trivandrum. All units are to send as many members as possible for the dharna. It will start  at 10.30 am on 11th. The same day will be observed as "black day" by all members and they will be wearing black badges.
If even this will not open the eyes of the concerned authorities, KGIMOA state leaders will go on an indefinite fast at the secretariat from dec 19th and the same day all members will observe 1 day strike.

Urgent exe.meeting:

An urgent executive meeting is scheduled on 13th Monday at Thiruvananthapuram KGMOA building at 11am.All executive members please attend the meeting without fail.
Agenda: To discuss further actions including giving strike notice to Government with respect to the prolongation of the unlawful suspension of Dr.Radhakrishnan.
As there is no justification for  prolonging the suspension of Dr. Radhakrishnan even after the favorable medical board report, the KGIMOA is being dragged in to an agitation to get justice to our State Secretary. If our State secretary can be suspended on trivial grounds for such a long time , what will be treatment we can expect for the ordinary doctors working in our department. This is a shameful situation for the whole department and the doctors.
It is high time that the KGIMOA should take up the matter and fight for justice.
In this regard, we are sorry to note that our our association activities at Thriruvananthapuram unit are a bit dampened this year. However, It should not hamper our State committee decisions. So, KGIMOA humbly requests all the members of the  Thriruvananthapuram unit to  urgently call our State President  or our Tvm unit president or secretary and convey their opinions about the strike notice and other actions to be taken at our exe. meet on Monday.
All district units are requested to compulsorily participate in the exe. meet on monday as we have to decide on a very crucial action by the KGIMOA and make the meeting a success.

KGIMOA STRIKE UPDATE:

As you all know by now, The KGMOA strike has ended. However, we, the KGIMOA has not been called for the discussions by the govt., and as such we have not yet  received any assurance from the govt that we will also get the same benefits. So we are unable to with draw our ongoing non- cooperation strike yet. In this regard,we have approached the govt. with our demands to settle our strike at the earliest as follows:
1) Our secretary, Dr. Radhakrishnan, has represented today the labor dept, stating that the subsuming of the 76% of CSA in Basic pay be done in our case also.
2) The 3 increments given to specialists should be given to those holding the specialist posts now and all the rest should be given the 3 increments given to administrative cadre.
3)The same has been represented to the Chief minister also in person today.
4) Other details of the representation will be posted soon.
And we are now expecting an early order/ assurance from the Govt. that these demands will be met and we will also be extended all the benefits given to the health service. So wait till then to officially withdraw our strike.
