KGIMOA STRIKE UPDATE:

As you all know by now, The KGMOA strike has ended. However, we, the KGIMOA has not been called for the discussions by the govt., and as such we have not yet  received any assurance from the govt that we will also get the same benefits. So we are unable to with draw our ongoing non- cooperation strike yet. In this regard,we have approached the govt. with our demands to settle our strike at the earliest as follows:
1) Our secretary, Dr. Radhakrishnan, has represented today the labor dept, stating that the subsuming of the 76% of CSA in Basic pay be done in our case also.
2) The 3 increments given to specialists should be given to those holding the specialist posts now and all the rest should be given the 3 increments given to administrative cadre.
3)The same has been represented to the Chief minister also in person today.
4) Other details of the representation will be posted soon.
And we are now expecting an early order/ assurance from the Govt. that these demands will be met and we will also be extended all the benefits given to the health service. So wait till then to officially withdraw our strike.

Long Live KGIMOA
