INSURANCE MEDICAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT TO BE CONVERTED TO A CORPORATION:

  There is news that hot discussions are on the way to convert IMS to an autonomous body at the earliest possible. The issue was first proposed by ESI corporation a few years ago and KGIMOA vehemently opposed it on all the counters and it was put aside.Then came the proposal for taking up of the dept by ESIC. That also we have opposed. Again the old threat has surfaced. As for KGIMOA , there is no question of supporting the move as becoming a corporation can , at the minimum, cancel our pension.If here is any plus points with this issue, we will be searching it out in the coming days.

To discuss the issue, an urgent executive meeting is called on 11th Monday at Trivandrun  kgmoa building at 10 am. All exe members should attend the meeting. Also please discuss the issue with the members .
